Exciting news from the Recovery Action Network of Michigan (RANMI)—we are launching our very first Recovery Community Center! Located in the heart of downtown Wayne at 35112 West Michigan Avenue, this space will serve as a welcoming and safe environment for people in recovery and those seeking support.
A Hub for Recovery Support
Our new center will offer a variety of free resources and peer-driven support services, including:
✅ Multiple Pathways Support Groups – Because recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all, we’ll offer a range of group meetings to support diverse recovery journeys.
✅ Peer Recovery Coaching – One-on-one guidance from trained recovery coaches who understand the journey firsthand.
✅ Overdose Prevention & Harm Reduction – Free Narcan, fentanyl and xylazine test strips, and education on safe use and overdose prevention.
✅ Life Skills Workshops – Training in financial literacy, nutrition, self-care, and other essential skills to empower individuals in recovery.
✅ Community Resources – Connections to treatment providers, housing assistance, employment support, and more.
Get Involved: We Need Your Help!
To bring this space to life, we’re looking for volunteers and donations to help with our big move-in day on March 23rd and to furnish the center.
Needed Donations:
📌 Office furniture: Desks, tables, chairs, moveable divider walls
📌 Kitchen supplies: Microwave, coffee maker, utensils, plates, cups, paper towels
📌 Décor: Wall decorations, artwork, recovery quotes to inspire our community
If you have items to donate or want to volunteer your time, please contact us at info@ranmi.org.
We are so excited to create this space in Wayne and provide a strong, supportive recovery community for those who need it. Stay tuned for more details on our Grand Opening this spring!
Together, we recover. 💜
